On Monday evening, the Sacramento Kings  hosted the Cleveland Cavaliers in California.

The Kings won the game by a score of 132-120, and All-Star point guard De'Aaron Fox led the way with 28 points, two rebounds, six assists and one steal while shooting 11/20 from the field in 36 minutes of playing time.

Colby Jones played one minute during the game, and on Tuesday, he was assigned to the Stockton Kings (G League).

Via Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee: "The Sacramento Kings have assigned rookie guard Colby Jones to the G League Stockton Kings."

Jones was the 34th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft out of Xavier and has played in six games so far this season.

The 21-year-old is averaging 3.2 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 47.1% from the field and 25.0% from the three-point range.

As for the Kings, they are now 5-4 in their first nine games, which has them as the sixth seed in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and 4-1 in the five games they have hosted on their home floor in Sacramento.

Following the Cavs, they will play their next game against Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers (in Los Angeles) on Wednesday.

Last season, the Kings were the third seed in the Western Conference with a 48-34 record.

They made the NBA playoffs for the first time since the 2006 season, but lost to the Golden Staten Warriors in the first round.
