It feels like just a few years ago when the Golden State Warriors dominated the NBA, clinching multiple championships and reshaping the league’s landscape. However, they now stand at the brink of significant transformations.

A recent defeat at the hands of the Sacramento Kings concluded what has been a tumultuous and disappointing season for the Warriors.

On a recent segment of “First Take,” Stephen A. Smith declared that this loss marked the end of the Warriors’ era of dominance.

He highlighted the Golden State Warriors’ solitary Finals appearance in the last five seasons and their absence from the postseason three times in the same period. Smith emphasized that the team’s management wouldn’t idly watch as Steph Curry faced such challenges in the latter stages of his career.

In essence, breaking up the team appears necessary to provide Curry with the best opportunity for another championship before he retires.

During the game, Curry managed 22 points, while Draymond Green contributed 12, and Klay Thompson notably struggled, failing to score.

Thompson’s impending free agency suggests that his tenure with the Warriors may have reached its conclusion.

Similarly, Green might also find himself seeking opportunities elsewhere.

However, it’s not just these players who could depart; the Warriors may undergo significant roster changes to strengthen support around Curry.

While the dynasty enjoyed a prolonged reign, all good things must come to an end, and it seems a new chapter for the Golden State Warriors is on the horizon.
