Stephen Curry proposes three-point shootout with WNBA star

New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu set the all-time record for the highest score in a three-point contest (37) at the WNBA All-Star Game. The most points Stephen Curry—the greatest shooter in history—has ever made during an NBA All-Star Game three-point contest is 31, the league record.

Here's Ionescu's epic shooting (it's ridiculous):

Ionecu's performance is one of the greatest shooting exhibitions ever, sinking 25 of 27 total shots, many not even grazing the rim.

This season, Ionescu is shooting a staggering 44.6 percent from beyond the arc on 7.6 attempts per game.

"She went crazy with the 37 points in their All-Star weekend. We gotta settle that one for sure, who's the better three-point contest shooter," Curry said Monday on ESPN's "NBA Today."

It would be interesting to see these two match up in a one-on-one style shootout, like in 2016 when the NBA put Kevin Hart against Draymond Green.

Stephen Curry v. Sabrina Ionescu, the shootout of a generation.
