Suns' Chris Paul pledges to be better following turnovers in Game 4 loss to Bucks

There were plenty of highlights in Game 4 of the NBA Finals -- and not all of them good highlights.

On one end of the spectrum, you have highlights that amaze, a la Giannis Antetokounmpo's insane block on Deandre Ayton. On the other end, however, you have Chris Paul turning the ball over twice in the final minutes of play as the Suns fizzled late against the Bucks and lost 109-103.

"They got a significant amount more shots than us, so for me, I got to take care of the ball," Paul told the press postgame, not skirting away from the blame, per ESPN. "We got 17 turnovers. We shoot the ball too well not to have those opportunities to score."

Paul's performance in Game 4 was easily his worst of the playoffs. In addition to only tallying 10 points on 5-of-13 shooting, he committed five of Phoenix's turnovers.

Had it not been for all of those missteps, the Suns might not have given the Bucks room to come from behind and win. Phoenix outshot Milwaukee 51.3% to 40.2% in part thanks to Devin Booker's 42-point night. Unfortunately for Phoenix, Booker was sidelined a fair amount in the fourth quarter after he picked up five fouls.

Not that Paul was going to hide behind his teammate's blunders.

"It was me," Paul said. "I had five (turnovers). It was bad decision-making."

Game 5 between the Suns and Bucks takes place Saturday as the series moves back to Phoenix tied up at two games apiece.
