The 'Every NBA MVP runner-up from the lottery era' quiz

Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets took care of business against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night, effectively taking control of the top seed in the Western Conference with two games left to play. Afterward, Joker was asked about this season's MVP race, something he's clearly not that enthusiastic about discussing.

"I think the whole MVP conversation is getting out of control," Jokic said. I think I'm playing good basketball...I think a couple guys deserve to have the award."

While he's not wrong, he should also probably start preparing his speech now, as he's almost sure to take home his third trophy this summer.

Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. Jokic did not win MVP last season, finishing second to Joel Embiid. So with that in mind, how many of the players who finished second in the NBA MVP voting since the 1985-86 season can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
