The 'NBA MVPs' quiz
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished a distant second place to Nikola Jokic in voting for the 2023-24 NBA’s Most Valuable Player Award. This year SGA flipped the script, capturing 71 first place votes – 42 more than Jokic, who was the only other player to receive a first place vote. While there are some players in the league and fans on social media who don’t love the way Gilgeous-Alexander plays the game, his results are hard to argue with. He led the NBA with 32.7 points-per-game to go with a career-high 6.4 assists to help the Thunder cruise to the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference and best record in the NBA.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. SGA is the third Thunder player to be named MVP since the franchise moved to Oklahoma City. With that being said, how many of the players to win MVP honors in NBA history can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
