The Denver Nuggets had a disappointing start to the Western Conference semifinals as they lost two back-to-back games. After being down 0-2, the Nuggets received a ton of backlash from the critics as many predicted the worst for the team’s future in the series. But the team completely turned things around and dominated the Minnesota Timberwolves at their home in Games 3 and 4.

After making an edit of all the haters of the team and using it as fuel for the players, Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone had an even better reply after the win in Game 4 on Sunday. During the press conference, HC called out the critics for underestimating the reigning champions.

Never underestimate the heart of a champion. They were quick to write us off, but these guys, we won a championship a year ago. We went into Miami and won two games in a row. This team has been tested time and time again and we found a way to solve whatever's been thrown at us. Michael Malone said

Despite recognizing the need to secure the next game, Malone commended the team for their comeback and highlighted their trust in each other. He also noted their improvement from the initial losses to consecutive wins, emphasizing the players’ growth and resilience.

The role players played their part perfectly in the Nuggets roster to successfully slow down the Minnesota Timberwolves. The team was well coached, as none of the players had to play heavy minutes to win the game. Nikola Jokic delivered a 35-point performance while Jamal Murray ended his 19 points run an amazing half-court shot.

For Michael Malone, Aaron Gordon was the MVP of Game 4

The defending champions all showed up to tie the series with a 115-107 win on the road. The bench players of the Nuggets squad were incredible as they added 27 points to the score in crucial minutes. But despite all these performances, Aaron Gordon stood out the most for HC Malone and the viewers.

Gordon had a nearly flawless shooting night as the forward made 11/12 field goals along with all his three-pointers and free throws. The star also contributed defensively with two blocks and one steal. He ended up with 27 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. While praising the team HC Malone gave credit to Gordon for his amazing performance in the press conference.

Nikola does what he does. Jamal does what he does but I thought Aaron Gordon was the Weldwerks juicy bits MVP of the game. He was incredible...Making shots, rebounding, playmaking, he did everything. Aaron's been incredible for us. Michael Malone said

After praising Gordon, Malone stated that the team needs to protect their home court now. After winning two on the road, the Nuggets will head to Denver to potentially take a lead in Game 5. Fans will certainly look forward to the game as Malone told the Nuggets followers to make the Ball Arena a zoo for the next game.
