Thunder rookie Chet Holmgren may have torn ligaments in foot

Oklahoma City Thunder big man Chet Holmgren reportedly suffered potential torn ligaments in his foot, putting his rookie season in doubt.

The Thunder selected Holmgren out of Gonzaga with the No. 2 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft in June. The lanky center averaged 12.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.0 blocks across three games at the Las Vegas Summer League.

The Pro-Am game also featured NBA All-Stars LeBron James, Jayson Tatum and Dejounte Murray, as well as fellow rookies Paolo Banchero and Tari Eason.
