With the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves tied up at 2-2 in their series, things are starting to get very interesting, as star players Anthony Edwards and Jamal Murray are even getting into it.

After a shocking 2-0 start to the series for the Minnesota Timberwolves, they were unable to continue their winning ways against the Denver Nuggets despite being back at home. It was arguably the most shocking thing of the playoffs when the Timberwolves took a 2-0 lead on the road against the defending champions.

However, the Nuggets didn’t seem to be rattled at all, despite being down in the series and then heading on the road. Denver has won two straight games in a somewhat convincing fashion.

In the series, we have seen the emergence of Anthony Edwards as a young star in the NBA. He and Jamal Murray of the Nuggets have been going back and forth, and Edwards recently commented about what he said to Murray during Game 4.

“I just told his a** we love that,” said Edwards, who scored a game-high 44 points in Sunday’s outing. “‘Keep talking [like] that. That’s what we like.’ Well, I loved it. He didn’t say anything back. But I’m pretty sure he heard me. They heard me. You live for that.”

Edwards and Murray is a matchup to watch, as Murray is the second-best player on the Nuggets behind Nikola Jokic, and arguably the X-factor on the team. If Jamal Murray is playing well, the Nuggets are nearly impossible to beat.

For Anthony Edwards, he has been really good in the playoffs and already has two 40-point games against the Nuggets in the series. However, the Timberwolves did lose in Game 4, when he scored 44 points at home.

With the series shifting back to Denver, the Timberwolves must feel like they are once again behind the eight-ball. Denver is generally very good at home, and there is zero chance they will be taking Minnesota lightly after what happened in Games 1 and 2.
