The 2024 NBA Draft Lottery is at 3 p.m. ET on May 12 before Game 4 of the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers series.

The Toronto Raptors will find out if they will keep their top-six protected first-round pick this year.

If Toronto’s pick falls within the top-six they keep it. However, if their pick falls outside of the top-six then it is conveyed to the San Antonio Spurs as compensation for the Jakob Poeltl trade from last year.

The Raptors finished the season with the sixth-worst record in the league, giving them a 45.8 percent chance of keeping it.

More specifically the Raptors have a 9 percent chance at the No. 1 pick, 9.2 percent chance at the No. 2 pick, 9.4 percent chance at the No. 3 pick, 9.6 percent chance at the No. 4 pick and 8.6 percent chance at the No. 6 pick. The Raptors can’t land No. 5.

Toronto has a 54.2 percent chance of losing the pick and it falling between 7-10.

The Raptors have announced who will represent them on the NBA Draft Lottery stage. Scottie Barnes and assistant General Manager Dan Tolzman will be in the drawing room for Toronto, according to TSN’s Josh Lewenberg.

The last time the Raptors moved up in the lottery was in 2021, when they selected Barnes 4th overall. The Raptors are hoping that Barnes and Tolzman bring them luck and perhaps Toronto can move up again.

The Raptors already have the No. 19 pick in this year’s draft via the Indiana Pacers. They also have the No. 31 pick via the Detroit Pistons. Toronto could have three picks to work with at the draft.

The 2024 NBA Draft is set for June 26 and 27.
