The Denver Nuggets are not expected to do much as the trade deadline, as the reigning NBA champions have a very solid roster already. While Denver feels good about their current collection of players, there are always marginal moves that can help round out a roster.

In a recent article from Dan Favale of Bleacher Report, five top trade targets were listed for each team, and Golden State Warriors forward Dario Saric was atop Denver's list. Backup center is the one area of Denver's roster that could certainly use an upgrade, and while Saric is more of a power forward, he can serve as a stretch-five in certain groups that surround him with the right defensive personnel.

This is of course analysis from Favale and not sourced reporting about Denver's interest in players like Saric, but a player like that could make sense for the Nuggets. As it pertains to Saric specifically, his availability will of course depend on what the Warriors opt to do at the deadline.

Golden State still feels they can make some noise this season despite their poor record, so it seems unlikely that they would give away a veteran like Saric to a Western Conference contender, but it doesn't seem like anything can be entirely ruled out for the Warriors right now.

As for Denver, their roster is already mostly set.
