LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Former Indiana star Trayce Jackson-Davis signed a four-year contract with the NBA's Golden State Warriors last week, with the first two years guaranteed. There are team options for the last two years, and this week all the numbers became public,

According to the website Spotrak, which keeps track of contracts throughout all pro sports, Jackson-Davis signed a four-year contract with a total value of $7,639,302. During his rookie year in 2023-24, Jackson-Davis will earn a starting salary of $1,119,563.

The deal guarantees Jackson-Davis $1,8 91,857 on the second year, for a total of $3,011,520. The third and fourth seasons are team options, $2,221,657 in Year 3 and $ 2,406,205 in fourth season.

Jackson-Davis, who is represented by Excel Sports Management, was the 57th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, acquired by the Warriors from the Washington Wizard in a draft night trade that was orchestrated in advance.

The Warriors had a first-round grade on Jackson-Davis and when he slipped into the second round, they worked to find a spot to take him. They're thrilled to have him, glad to have a veteran rookie who has four years of high-level college basketball behind him at Indiana.

Jackson-Davis has been bothered by a mild hamstring injury since starting workouts with the Warriors this summer, and he's missed their first four games as a precaution. He's been going through practice all week here in Las Vegas, though, and is hoping to being playing games either Wednesday or Thursday. He is a game-time decision.
