Trayce Jackson-Davis started for the first time in his NBA career with the Warriors against the Sacramento Kings, and he did not disappoint. On Wednesday night, Jackson-Davis put up 13 points and 10 rebounds with the starting lineup, and he did it all against Domantas Sabonis.

"It was a lot of fun," Jackson-Davis said. "Being able to go against a talent like that on this stage at home, getting my first start, just soaking it all in, it was a great experience."

The 57th overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft, Jackson-Davis proved he could be an absolute steal for the Warriors. He actually didn't even know that he was starting until the day of the game.

"The biggest lesson I take is just enjoying the process," Jackson-Davis said. "I found out this morning that I was going to start, just always being ready to have your name called. Playing with my teammates, the vets, shout out to Rudy, Draymond, CP3, Steph, just helping me even in shootaround earlier today being in the right spots knowing what to do out on the floor."

The Golden State Warriors have proven time after time that they're capable of elite-level drafting. Their entire championship success has been built on the team drafting Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. Hopefully, Trayce Jackson-Davis can produce in the regular season, and show just how good he really is.
