Watch: LeBron James posterizes former Cavs teammate Kevin Love

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was happy to see his former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate Kevin Love before tipoff of a game Monday night, but he didn't hold back when Love was between him and the rim.

James, 37, drove to the basket and threw down a ferocious dunk over Love that even the Cleveland crowd couldn't help but appreciate.

Prior to the game Monday, James and Love -- who played together in Cleveland for four seasons -- greeted each other with an elaborate handshake.

James had 21 points at halftime, leading the Lakers back from a 14-point first quarter deficit to a 67-62 lead at the end of the first half. With the end of the regular season less than three weeks away, James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Joel Embiid are all averaging 29.8 points per game in a tight race for the 2021-22 NBA scoring title.
