Watch: Wizards guard booed after more boneheaded antics

Washington Wizards shooting guard Jordan Poole had just one assist during the team's road loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night, but his best pass of the game didn't actually net him that dime.

In terms of style points though, tossing an alley-oop off the backboard to teammate Kyle Kuzma in the third quarter certainly made for an exciting play … despite the score.

Hawks fans didn't find the fancy play entertaining though, and neither should Wizards followers, as the latest boneheaded antic from Poole came when Washington was getting blown out at the time.

Since the 2019 first-round pick fought and shot his way out of the Bay Area and landed in the nation's capital, he's had a rough start in his new surroundings.

Not only has Poole had some truly embarrassing moments over the first handful of games, but his numbers are lacking as well.

The 24-year-old is posting his lowest points (17.3), assists (2.5) and rebounds (2.3) averages since the 2020-21 campaign while recording a career-high 3.3 turnovers per contest as well. True, the season is only four games young, but the Golden State Warriors are looking smart thus far for shipping off the talented Michigan product in July.

Poole is shooting a career-worst 24.1% from three-point land and his 38.5% field goal percentage is his lowest mark since his 2019-2020 rookie campaign.
