Raptors Projected Starters

Wizards Projected Starters

Wizards forward Davis Bertans is not on the injury report ahead of the team’s preseason matchup with the Raptors. Bertans injured his calf in Washington’s second preseason game, though the veteran apparently isn’t having any lingering issues from the ailment.

Rui Hachimura (personal), Cassius Winston (hamstring), and Thomas Bryant (ACL) will all be unavailable for the game.

Something to Watch

Deni Avdija returned in the Wizards’ second preseason game, seeing 16 minutes of action. Before the contest, coach Wes Unseld Jr. spoke about how he wanted to be cautious with Avdija in his return and I’d expect the forward to see more time in this matchup with the Raptors.
