Neither George Kittle nor Dre Greenlaw were listed among the San Francisco 49ers inactives, but both were quickly ruled out as their Week 18 game with the Los Angeles Rams began.

Pro Bowl Tight end Kittle was not in uniform, while linebacker Greenlaw was in his game pants and a hoodie to start a meaningless game, with the Niners already sure of the one seed in the NFC.

Soon after, the 49ers confirmed the obvious, that neither Kittle nor Greenlaw would be involved.

Kittle is dealing with back spasms, while Greenlaw has Achilles tendinitis.

Neither injury is likely to be serious, with 49ers sure to be playing it safe with two players who are critical to their hopes of returning to and winning the Super Bowl.

Both will be able to rest up during the first week of the postseason, with the Niners now not in action until the Divisional Round.
