Adrian Peterson is in trouble with the law once again.

Peterson was arrested and charged with felony domestic violence on Sunday, according to TMZ Sports. The running back was getting set to leave Los Angeles International Airport when police received a call at around 8:30 a.m. about a disturbance on an aircraft.

The plane had reportedly left the gate and had to return after an alleged verbal and physical altercation between Peterson and his wife, Ashley Brown. An investigation determined that Brown had a mark on her, and Peterson was taken into custody.

Only Peterson was removed from the plane. Brown and the rest of the passengers were given clearance to depart after the 36-year-old running back was arrested.

Peterson and Brown were in L.A. for a Super Bowl event that was hosted by DIRECTV.

Peterson was indicted by a grand jury back in 2014 over an alleged domestic abuse incident with his young son. He pleaded no contest to a lesser charge in the case and avoided jail time.
