The running back position has been devalued in recent years, a point underscored by the NFL Draft. Only one running back was selected in the first round in each of the prior two drafts, and both players were taken toward the end of the round. The pattern is likely to continue in 2021. In our latest mock, we project just one running back to go in the first round. That said, the Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly considering taking one on day 1, as are the Miami Dolphins. If those teams go in a different direction on Thursday though, then 2021 could be the first draft since 2014 in which a running back is not taken with any of the first 32 picks.
Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. Even with the recent lack of interest in using a top pick on a tailback, every team with the exception of the Houston Texans has used a first-rounder on the position at one point in time. So with that in mind, can you name the last time every NFL team selected a running back in the first round of the NFL Draft?
