There is no denying the vitriol which fuels the rivalry between the Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts. With that being said, one current player is setting his competitiveness aside with his latest comments about a Titans newcomer.

While the fans involved in this heated AFC South rivalry might not have anything nice to say about the opposition, Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. didn't hesitate to compliment one of Tennessee's newest members.

Pittman joined Titans DT Jeffery Simmons, along with numerous other NFL stars, down in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, for Sport Fishing Championship's (SFC) The Catch. Players enjoyed a fishing competition which lasted for three days pairing NFLers with some of the SFC's top anglers.

During some down time Pittman sat down for a quick interview. In the interview below Pittman touched on what makes Titans CB L'Jarius Sneed such an uncomfortable matchup for receivers.

"These past couple of years I think (Sneed) has become one of the premier corners. He always does a really good job. He's a physical guy and a bigger guy, too. He always wants to put his hands on and he wants to bump you. He's just an all around great player."

It's no secret that the Titans will be a much tougher team to throw on than its 2023 version. Sneed has earned his respect throughout the league, so Pittman knows that those two annual matchups with Tennessee will be a dog fight. Throw in Chidobe Awuzie and Roger McCreary and thats a trio that will keep quarterbacks up at night.

The Catch has to be one of the more fun offseason events NFL players can come together and participate in. Plenty of amazing content has come out of the tournament including this video of Jameis Winston interviewing a couple of tunas.
