As if the Chicago Bears needed more adversity this offseason, they will likely be without the services of another wide receiver. According to multiple sources, David Moore fell awkwardly during a 1-on-1 drill and trainers removed him from practice on the medical cart.

David Moore’s Injury: Right Leg

After landing hard during a drill, David Moore was visibly writhing in pain. The Chicago Bears’ trainers tended to the 27-year-old wide receiver but he could not put any weight on his right leg. The Bears have already taken hits to their receiving corps when N’Keal Harry and Byron Pringle were both injured.

Pringle, who is dealing with an apparent quad injury, doesn’t have a timetable to return. But N’Keal Harry couldn’t put any weight on his left ankle and could miss significant time.

If David Moore’s right leg injury is severe, the Chicago Bears could be in serious trouble at the receiver position. Considering that rookie receiver Velus Jones Jr. has also already dealt with a potential injury, the Bears could be in dire need of healthy players to fill the void.
