The Chicago Bears are deep into OTAs now and Ryan Poles' recent additions are making waves. Former Bears coach, Dave Wannstedt, attended OTAs and was impressed with DJ Moore and Tyler Scott.

Bears New Personnel Impressing In Practice

The Bears are already on the path to bettering their team during OTAs. The offseason, so far, is a success in many fans' eyes and there is a different energy around the organization.

Former Chicago Bears head coach Dave Wannstedt is no stranger to hyperbole. But he has been close to the team and followed along even closer with the Chicago media over the last several decades. Nevertheless, when Wanny shows up to a Bears practice and notices a palpable difference, things are changing.

Wannstedt said on 670 The Score that newly acquired wide receiver DJ Moore made:

Furthermore, Wannstedt also made a comment about former Cincinnati Bearcats wide receiver, Tyler Scott. He said that every time Scott touched the football, he made guys miss.

Sure, it's OTAs and the summer hasn't even really started. But the Chicago Bears feel different heading into the 2023 season. Justin Fields has help now, both on the offensive line and on the corners with multiple receivers.

Ryan Poles is making this team better, at least on paper, and head coach Matt Eberflus has a long road ahead of him to piece it all together. But the Bears will be better this season and coach Wannstedt isn't the only one taking notice.
