The Chicago Bears had a magical first night of the NFL Draft selecting QB Caleb Williams and WR Rome Odunze. With a lack of picks in the 2024 NFL Draft, the 75th overall pick marked the Bears' third pick in the draft.

With the 75th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Bears selected offensive tackle Kiran Amegadjie out of Yale.

Amegadjie is a fascinating prospect. Although raw coming from Ivy League Yale, the unit of a tackle comes in with huge promise for the future. In addition, Amegadjie is a Hinsdale, IL native, meaning Ryan Poles adds another local guy to the team's roster.

Amegadjie's NFL.com scouting profile is as follows:

"With a rare blend of athletic traits and eye-popping length, it might be a mistake to bet against the high number of boxes Amegadjie checks. His hand usage is a work in progress, and he hasn't learned to consistently get into blocks with proper footwork and body control, but both issues are coachable and likely to be corrected. Provided he improves his punch-timing and placement, his ability to keep rushers at the end of his length could become a big advantage. Amegadjie already possesses impressive explosiveness as a drive blocker and could become a quality NFL starter once his tutelage is complete."

At the end of the day, Amegadjie is raw. However, as a third-round pick, he does not need to come in and be the everyday starter. Nonetheless, with proper development, he could become the eventual left tackle to compliment Darnell Wright for the long haul.

With utilizing the 75th overall pick, the Bears will pick one more time in the draft at the 122nd overall selection. The Bears could go defense with their final pick or they could trade down and potentially pick up another pick in this year's draft.
