Star pass-rusher Khalil Mack is heading to L.A. Mike Dinovo-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Chargers may have the most feared pass rush in the NFL next season.

The Chargers are finalizing a deal to acquire six-time Pro Bowler Khalil Mack from the Chicago Bears, according to multiple reports. They are expected to give up a second-round and sixth-round draft pick.

Mack, 31, appeared in just seven games for the Bears last season before he was shut down for the year with a foot injury. He recorded six sacks in those seven contests, proving he is still a force when healthy.

The Chargers should be able to terrorize opposing quarterbacks in 2022. If Mack is healthy, teams will have to figure out how to account for him and Joey Bosa, who had 10.5 sacks last year and is one of the best pass-rushers in the NFL. That could be an almost impossible task at times.
