Bengals confident ahead of AFC Championship rematch vs. Chiefs

The Bengals don't seem to lack any confidence as they head to their second straight AFC Championship Game. And they face a team they are quite familiar with the Chiefs.

Cincinnati has won three straight vs. Kansas City, and there's no one in the Bengals' locker room who doesn't think they'll make it four.

"Why not do it again?," WR Ja'Marr Chase asked. "Why not?"

It will no doubt be a close game as all three of the previous matchups were decided by three points. But the Bengals seem to have the Chiefs' number, and they know it.

"I think we're a more complete team. I think we're a better team," QB Joe Burrow said. "We just seem to make plays when it counts. That's all there is to say."

Cincinnati started the week as 1.5-point underdogs, however, they have since become one-point favorites as the AFC title game inches closer.

"We're built for this. It doesn't matter what anybody thinks about us. We don't care who's favored, who's not," Zac Taylor added.

The health of QB Patrick Mahomes, who suffered a high ankle sprain a week ago, will certainly play a role in the game's outcome. But the fourth installment of this matchup should certainly be worth the wait.
