Bengals props worth a look for Super Bowl LVI

The Super Bowl is almost here, and if you haven't locked in your player props yet, now is the time.

Last week, I brought in my two favorite betting angle for Rams props, so check that out here if you missed it.

We turn our attention to the Bengals side. Los Angeles has a great defense, so be careful loading up too many Bengals props. While we want to root for action and big plays, know that the numbers suggest that may be unlikely.

Still, there are two props I feel good about for Cincinnati.

Joe Mixon over 25.5 receiving yards (-105 FanDuel)

Mixon has been steady against this number, finishing with more than 26 receiving yards in five straight games.

He's been far more involved in the passing game in this span, averaging 5.8 targets per game in his last five. His season average is just 3.3 targets per game, so it's been a clear shift in offensive play-calling that figures to remain in Super Bowl LVI.

The Rams own one of the top run defenses in the NFL, and I expect them to dominate the line of scrimmage (more on that in a moment).

I think Mixon struggles to move the ball on the ground, but he's far too talented to not get the ball in his hands, so we look to receiving production.

It's not tremendous odds, but an alternative play here could be Mixon to go over 3.5 receptions (-138 FD). I'd rather add 3+ receptions on DraftKings to a Same Game Parlay.

Mixon has more than three receptions in five straight games, averaging 5.2 in that stretch.

On the season, the Rams defense has allowed running backs to average 38.7 receiving yards per game, but their past two games have shown some potential leaks slowing down backs in the passing game.

Both Tampa and San Francisco running backs finished with 56 receiving yards.

Mixon should get the work to hit this number on Sunday.

.5u: Joe Burrow over 10.5 rushing yards (-110 FanDuel)

This is a bet strictly on the success I expect the Rams to have rushing Burrow. It's the biggest advantage I see in this game. Aaron Donald (who I think is worth a bet to win MVP), should be able to wreck this offensive line and force Burrow out of the pocket repeatedly.

The hope is that if Burrow is pressured as much as I think he is, he'll be forced to scramble for first downs a few times, like he did against Kansas City in the AFC Championship Game.

Burrow finished with 25 yards last game. He doesn't look to run much. I just think this will be a product of the situation. In his last six games, Burrow has gone over 10.5 yards rushing three times.

I've plugged this a few times already, but I'll add that I also love Evan McPherson to go over his kicking points total, still at just 7.5.
