Bills CB Dane Jackson released from hospital, 'all indications are he has avoided a major injury'
The Buffalo Bills cruised past the Tennessee Titans 41-7 on "Monday Night Football" and are now tied atop the AFC East standings with the Miami Dolphins at 2-0. Putting a dark cloud over the blowout victory though was the scary-looking injury to Bills cornerback Dane Jackson in the second quarter.
After leaving the contest in an ambulance, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo had a positive update on Tuesday morning.
On the play, Jackson was making a tackle on Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks, when Buffalo's Tremaine Edmunds came diving in and struck his teammate directly in the helmet. The game was delayed for nearly 10 minutes while Jackson was loaded onto a stretcher and driven off the field on an ambulance.
The 25-year-old has started both of the Bills' first two games this season in place of the injured Tre'Davious White. Jackson has registered eight combined tackles, two passes defended, and one interception thus far in 2022.
