Bills QB Josh Allen comments on 'horrendous' second half in OT loss to Vikings

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills suffered a devastating 33-30 overtime loss to Minnesota Vikings at home on Sunday due mainly to a fumble by the quarterback late in the fourth quarter.

The fumble, Allen's third of the game, cost the Bills a surefire. Following the loss, a dejected Allen mostly stared looking downward as he took questions from the media. Allen commented on the loss and his turnovers, saying, "It's on me; we can't have it."

"Losing sucks. Sucks this way even worse," Allen said. "Horrendous second half. I gotta do better. We gotta do better."

While the Bills' unfortunate turnover late on the goal line helped the Vikings complete their comeback, Allen's interception early in the fourth quarter opened the door.

Buffalo was up by 10 points with 10:27 left when Allen was picked off in the end zone, eventually leading to a touchdown on the Vikings' ensuing drive to cut the deficit to 27-23.

Two possessions later, after the Bills' defense came up with a goal line stand on fourth down, Allen and the offense were backed up on their one-yard line setting the stage for the disastrous fumble.

Allen committed his third turnover in overtime, picked off by Vikings' Patrick Peterson for the second time to end the game.

Turnovers have come in bunches for Allen, and it's a disturbing trend if you're a Bills fan. Allen has thrown the most interceptions in the NFL (10), and over the last two games, he's thrown four interceptions, including three in the redzone.

Earlier this week, ESPN analyst and former quarterback Dan Orlovsky said Allen's biggest flaw was his competitiveness, which leads defenses to play him differently, knowing he may force some throws, as he did on Sunday.

After the game, Orlovsky reiterated his point simply on Twitter.
