The 2022 NFL season provided lots of highlight moments.

From spectacular catches and unbelievable tackles, even to hilarious fan moments, this season will go down as one of the most memorable in NFL history.

Let’s look back to Week 2 of the NFL season, where the Denver Broncos fans had an all-time highlight.

Whether this is more of a highlight for the Broncos fans or an indictment of how their season would go is a matter of perspective.

Either way, Broncos Country provided a highlight that will live in infamy for years to come.

In the clip above, you can hear Broncos fans chanting the seconds on the play clock.

This came on the heels of a few delay-of-game penalties committed by Russell Wilson and the entire offense.

The Broncos ended up winning that game, 16-9, and many of their fans have chalked up the reason for this victory to their supreme counting skills.

After this game, the Broncos had a 1-1 record, and still had hope that they would be able to succeed for the rest of the season, especially under Wilson’s veteran leadership and prior success.

Unfortunately for the Broncos, they won just four more games on the season en route to a final record of 5-12.

This was certainly not the season outcome that they expected, and will now look to the future with a sense of hope and longing.

The Broncos fired their head coach, Nathaniel Hackett, before the season was completed, and are currently on the hunt for a new leader.
