Broncos quarterbacks weren't cooperative with contact tracing?

The Denver Broncos' entire quarterback room of Drew Lock, Jeff Driskel, Brett Rypien and Blake Bortles is out for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints after Driskel tested positive for COVID-19 and the remaining three quarterbacks were designated as close contacts.

Apparently, the NFL might discipline the four quarterbacks for their actions during and after the COVID-19 diagnosis. According to Matt Maske of the Washington Post, the Broncos QBs were not cooperative with contact tracers from the NFL and NFL Players Association.

It wouldn't be surprising if the NFL punished not only the players, but the Broncos organization as a whole for the COVID-19 violations. The New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints were recently fined for protocol violations, and Sean Payton's side even lost a seventh-round draft pick.

Without any quarterbacks available against the Saints, the Broncos are starting practice squad wide receiver Kendall Hinton at QB. Hinton was a quarterback at Wake Forest from 2015 to 2018.
