We are at the point and time during the NFL season where the NFL hadn't actually scheduled a time and date for a few of the games later in the season, and now it's time to schedule those dates and times. Well, the NFL just did that for one of the Denver Broncos games.

Initially, the Broncos' matchup with the Detroit Lions in Week 15 didn't have a date set - meaning we didn't know if it was on a Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. Now we know.

According to a note sent out by NFL Comms., the Lions and Broncos will play on Saturday, December 16, at 8:15 pm EST.

The Lions and Broncos are two of the hottest teams in the league right now. Despite the Bronco's overall record, they are riding a big five-game win streak. If they win this next game, they will sit at 7-5 on the year and have a great grip on a potential Wild Card Playoff berth.

The Lions and Broncos have a few connections, too. Dan Campbell once played for and coached under Sean Payton. Campbell was Payton's Assistant Head coach with the Saints for four years, and Campbell was with Payton as a player in New York, too.

This one should be tons of fun.
