The Cleveland Browns have signed offensive tackle Ty Nsehke to replace the injured Jack Conklin according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Nsehke is a 37 year old veteran free agent who has spent time with several teams. He was originally signed in the NFL in 2012 by the Indianapolis Colts. He most recently played for the Los Angeles Rams last season where he allowed 8 pressures and 3 sacks playing in 10 games according to Pro Football Focus.

The team seems to be developing an affinity for tall offensive tackles as Nsekhe stands 6'8" and weighs 325 lbs. He will certainly bring experience to the depth of our tackle position on the offensive line. With Conklin being lost for the season a move for depth became absolutely necessary.

Rookie Dawand Jones will now be the starting right tackle for the foreseeable future. James Hudson will now be the primary backup with Nsekhe as the fourth tackle. He had also recently drew interest from the Jets to solidify their tackle position. He was brought in for a workout but never signed.

By signing a veteran it won't take long to get him up to speed and ready should he need to play. This also allows Alex Leatherwood some time to develop and learn on the practice squad.
