Cleveland Browns put on the full pads today and has their most intensive practice yet at the Greenbrier in West Virginia. One wide receiver was not with the team and it has been revealed why exactly.

Mike Harley Jr. left practice a couple of days with a head injury today and it came out today that he’s in the concussion protocol. So, Harley will be out for a few days, likely including the Pro Football Hall of Fame game against the New York Jets. Harley is in his second season in the NFL and spent time with the Browns in the preseason last year, as well as on the practice squad.

Running back Jerome Ford and return man Jakeem Grant Sr. both did not practice on Saturday due to personal reasons. Ford is the team’s second running back right now behind Nick Chubb.

For the second straight day, the team’s newest tight end Jordan Akins did not practice (leg). Akins has made some good plays so far in camp and has a notable past connection with quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Guard Colby Gossett practiced for the first time this training camp today after coming off the non-football injury list with a foot injury.

Cleveland will wrap up their time at the Greenbrier tomorrow and return to Berea prior to their preseason opener with the New York Jets.
