Buccaneers' Antonio Brown, Rob Gronkowski out vs. Bears

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady told reporters Thursday his team "learned a lot from" last season's loss to the Chicago Bears.

Brady now knows he'll be without some reliable weapons for Sunday's rematch between those two teams.

Per Jenna Laine of ESPN, Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians confirmed Friday that wide receiver Antonio Brown (ankle) and tight end Rob Gronkowski (ribs) won't take the field Sunday. Inside linebacker Lavonte David (low ankle sprain) and cornerback Richard Sherman (hamstring) also won't play, while pass-rusher Jason Pierre-Paul seems to be a game-time decision with shoulder and hand issues.

Brown tweaked the ankle in the team's 28-22 "Thursday Night Football" win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Oct. 14, but Gronkowski hasn't been in the lineup all month. According to ESPN stats, Brown is now second on the Bucs with 418 receiving yards, third with 29 catches, and tied for first with four touchdown grabs. Receiver Tyler Johnson has seven receptions for 110 yards this season and could be in for a big day against Chicago.

"Tyler has done a good job. Everyone has a lot of confidence in Tyler," Brady said. "He does a good job out here whenever he gets his chance and he's made a bunch of plays in games. It's certainly not too big for him and I think he's got a good attitude, a good work ethic. We've just got to keep all trying to get better together."

The defending Super Bowl champions are looking to improve to 6-1 on the campaign, while the Bears enter the weekend at 3-3.
