Buccaneers RB Leonard Fournette, Grizzlies PG Ja Morant training together this summer
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette is trying to get ready for training camp, and he's working out with an NBA star to do so.
Fournette shared a video to Twitter Saturday of him and Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant running on treadmills.
It's unclear if they'll be working out together again or if this was a one-time thing. However, Fournette and Morant also both train with Mo Wells, the vice president of pro sports at the House of Athlete. So, it's safe to say this probably isn't the first time the duo has hit the gym together.
Fournette was a valuable contributor to the Buccaneers Super Bowl run last season, running for 300 yards and three touchdowns in the playoffs. He also had 18 catches for 148 yards and a score.
Morant, meanwhile, had an outstanding sophomore season for the Grizzlies, averaging a career-high 19.1 points, four rebounds and 7.4 assists per game while shooting 44.9% from the field and 30.3% from deep.
The 21-year-old also helped Memphis reach the playoffs for the first time since the 2016-17 campaign.
