The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed former Houston Texans defensive back Tavierre Thomas to a one-year deal.

Via buccaneers.com’s Scott Smith,

“Tampa Bay added another new piece to its secondary on Monday, inking Tavierre Thomas, who has seen extensive action as a slot corner in Cleveland and Houston.”

Thomas is now the fifth player signed from by the Bucs from another team. He looks to compete for the nickel position and will contribute on special teams.

Thomas went undrafted out of Ferris State in 2018. He briefly signed with the Arizona Cardinals before spending time with the Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans.
