Buccaneers TE Cameron Brate leaves game on stretcher

Scary scene at Acrisure Stadium on Sunday when Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cameron Brate had to be removed from their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on a stretcher.

Brate was injured after catching a pass and being tackled by Myles Jack late in the third quarter.

He remained down on the ground for several minutes before a stretcher had to be brought out. He was conscious and moving his arms after being placed on the stretcher and even gave a thumbs up to the crowd and players as he was being removed from the game.

What makes the situation even scarier is that Brate was just returning to the lineup after being in concussion protocol.

The Buccaneers offense is already dealing with a ton of injuries to its offensive line and wide receivers.

The 31-year-old Brate is in his ninth season with the Buccaneers. He has caught 263 passes in his career for 2,783 yards and 33 touchdowns. This season he has 13 catches for 114 yards and zero touchdowns.
