The NFL announced a group of current and former players that are set to announce draft selections for their teams in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Indianapolis Colts LB Zaire Franklin will announce the Colts' 2nd and 3rd round selections.

The Colts currently own pick 46 in the second round and pick 82 in the third round. If the Colts keep those picks, Franklin is set to announce both selections.

Franklin has some big shoes to fill on the NFL Draft stage, with two previous announcers putting on a show. The first being former Colts punter and now sports icon Pat McAfee in Nashville, Tennessee.

During the same draft in Nashville, now Colts WR coach and former Colts great WR Reggie Wayne also had some fun with the Nashville crowd.

Franklin won't have a rival crowd to rile up with the draft in Detroit this year, but we will see if he has any tricks up his sleeve to entertain us watching at home. Hopefully, the Colts will give him an easier name to announce than they gave McAfee when they selected LB Bobby Okereke
