The Arizona Cardinals and VP of Player Personnel Quentin Harris are reportedly parting ways.

More from CBS Sports' Jonathan Jones on Twitter/X:

"The Cardinals have parted ways with VP of player personnel Quentin Harris, source says. Harris had been with Arizona’s scouting department for 16 years. A respected personnel man, Harris has previously interviewed for the Giants and Titans GM jobs."

More from Harris' official bio from AZCardinals.com:

"Former Cardinals safety Quentin Harris begins his 16th season in Arizona's scouting department and third as Vice President, Player Personnel after being promoted in February, 2021. Prior to his promotion, Harris spent two years (2019-20) as Director, Player Personnel after working as the team's Director, Pro Scouting for six seasons (2013-18).

"Harris was selected to participate in the inaugural NFL's Coach and Front Office Accelerator program during the 2022 offseason that took place at the league's spring meeting in Atlanta. He followed that up by participating in the same program during the 2022 regular season. The program, part of the NFL's commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, provides prospects direct networking opportunities and exposure to club owners to help prepare them for future positions.

"In his current role, Harris helps manage both the college and pro personnel departments."

Harris has been a potential general manager candidate for a few years now, as Jones pointed out in his post. He's likely to continue receiving interviews as time progresses.

It's unknown where Harris will land with just two months until the 2024 NFL Draft, where the Cardinals currently hold ten picks with six coming in the first three rounds.
