Cardinals QB Kyler Murray returns to practice ahead of Week 10 vs. Panthers
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray returned to practice on Friday for the first time in nearly two weeks and could suit up for the team's Week 10 matchup on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.
Murray suffered an ankle injury during the team's Week 8 loss to the Green Bay Packers and didn't practice at all last week leading up to their Week 9 bout against the San Francisco 49ers. In Murray's place, Colt McCoy helped lead the Cardinals to a 31-17 win over the 49ers by going 22-for-26 for 249 passing yards, one touchdown and no interceptions while adding seven rushes for 23 yards.
ESPN staff writer Josh Weinfuss also had updates on other key members of the Cardinals.
Additionally, Arizona activated wide receiver A.J. Green from the COVID-19 list on Thursday after he missed the game against San Francisco. DeAndre Hopkins is considered day-to-day with a hamstring injury and starting running back Chasde Edmonds is expected to miss at least three weeks with a high-ankle sprain.
