Ahead of the second-to-last game of your 5-10 Los Angeles Chargers' miserable 2023 NFL season, against the struggling 7-8 Denver Broncos the team has unveiled its latest injury report.

Multiple key players on both sides of the ball are assuredly out, while Kenneth Murray Jr., who captains the defense, is doubtful.

Tight end Nick Vannett, guard Zion Johnson, and cornerback Deane Leonard are all questionable, with all 3 having popped up on last week's injury report as well, culminating in Vannett and Johnson suiting up while Leonard sat out.

Across the week, Vannett and Leonard have logged limited practices, while Johnson hasn't practiced at all.

Given what we saw last week, however, I'd expect Johnson to suit up, while Vannett and Leonard are more uncertain.

All this said, given the existing injuries to key Chargers players along with the team's anticipated draft position, this game carries little significance, instead suggesting more broadly that this is a trial run for Giff Smith, Derrick Ansley, Kellen Moore, and Easton Stick, rather than it is a reflection of the available Bolts' overall ability.

Let's see if they can take down a Broncos squad that recently benched QB Russell Wilson. Or if they even want to.
