The reason two players were healthy scratches for the Indianapolis Colts in Week 15 has been revealed.

The team has suspended CB Tony Brown and WR Isaiah McKenzie for the remainder of the regular season.

Many were shocked when the Colts posted their Week 15 inactive list, and Isaiah McKenzie and Tony Brown were listed. Both players play vital roles on the Colts special teams unit. McKenzie has been the team's kick and punting returner this season, and Brown is one of the most experienced special teams players on the Colts.

It has now been revealed that the two players did something the team listed as "conduct detrimental to the team." No further information has been provided at this time, but we do know this is a suspension given by the Colts, not the NFL. This is a rare occurrence for the Colts, leading me to wonder what the duo could have done to warrant such a punishment.

The Colts will now be without both players for the next three weeks. Last week, they turned to rookie Josh Downs to handle their return game and they will likely do so for the entirety of McKenzie's suspension.
