Cowboys can't underestimate Lions' high-scoring offense

The Detroit Lions, an offensive dynamo, come to Dallas this Sunday. Although the Cowboys are favored by seven, they shouldn't underestimate one of the NFL's best offenses.

Through five games, the Lions showed a strong bite. They're second in total offense, averaging 411.8 yards per game and 28 points per game. Both of these marks are above the league's average.

The Cowboys' defense is ranked eighth. However, the main concern is bouncing back from their performance against the Eagles.

In the first half of its 26-17 win, Philadelphia dominated Dallas, jumping to a 20-3 lead. Additionally, the Eagles created a blueprint for negating Micah Parsons, who had zero sacks.

Perhaps Lions head coach Dan Campbell plans to use a similar strategy, because he seemed confident that his team could stymie Parsons.

"They present a challenge, but I like our O-line, I like our tackles. We'll have a plan," Campbell said in a Wednesday news conference.

The Lions' O-line has allowed seven sacks, one of the league's lower figures.
