This is the time of year when we start hearing about all of these cool stories of draft prospects who have had something incredible happen in their life or have a late ambition to start playing the game later than most and are somehow very good at it. The Denver Broncos are looking into a guy with one of those cool, fun stories.
Giovanni Manu played basketball and was considered to be pretty good. At 6'7"and 352 pounds, he was a force in the paint. Manu sported a 33-inch vertical and a 4.96 40-yard dash at his pro day.
He played football for the University of British Columbia and turned into an offensive tackle. Now, everyone wants to talk with him, as he has one of any prospect's busiest top 30 schedules.
According to Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report, the Broncos are on the long list of teams to give him a top-30 workout.
It would be appreciated if the team tried something different. They certainly have their eyes on him.
