Denver Broncos safety Kareem Jackson tests positive for coronavirus
Denver Broncos safety Kareem Jackson is the second player from the organization to test positive for the coronavirus.
On Wednesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Jackson, who turned 32 years old in April, had "cold-like" symptoms at the time he learned he had COVID-19. Schefter added Jackson currently faces no serious risks.
The Houston Texans selected Jackson in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft, and the defensive back spent his first nine pro seasons with that club before he put pen to paper on a deal with Denver in March 2019.
Jackson tallied two interceptions across 13 games in his debut Broncos campaign.
