The Denver Broncos are adding an elite and emerging playmaker at wide receiver to replace Jerry Jeudy.

According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter , the Broncos are signing former Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds to a massive two-year contract worth up to $14 million.

Reynolds, 29, is coming off his most prolific season and the most prolific two-year stretch of his career, and now cashes in with the Broncos where he’ll get the opportunity to ascend to the top of the receiver depth chart.

Last season, Reynolds caught 40 passes for a career-high 608 yards and five touchdowns, while averaging 15.2 yards per reception, underscoring his ability to stretch the field.

What Josh Reynolds Adds to Denver Broncos’ Passing Game

Reynolds departs a crowded receiving corps where he carved out a niche as one of Jared Goff’s favorite and most reliable chain movers to Denver where he’ll become a focal point.

Last season, Pro Football Focus points out that Goff posted a whopping 118.8 passer rating when targeting Reynolds, who averaged 4.5 yards after the catch per reception.

Offering the versatility as a playmaker out wide and from the slot, Reynolds can be used in a multitude of ways, after lining up on the perimeter 65 percent of his snaps last season and running out of the slot on 35 percent of his offensive snaps.

Since being chosen by the Los Angeles Rams in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Reynolds has spent time with the Rams, Titans, and Lions, catching 220 career passes for 2,933 yards and 19 touchdowns.
