Deshaun Watson was traded to the Cleveland Browns two years ago for three first-round picks and a bunch of other day two and three ones and was given 230 million dollars guaranteed.

Deshaun Watson Has High Expectations And Has Yet To Live Up To Them

Watson was supposed to come to the Browns organization and take them places they had never been before, but that hasn’t even been close to happening, and now year three is going to be a big one for number four.

Watson missed most of the 2023 season due to a shoulder injury that started in Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans. He also missed games against the Ravens and 49ers and most of the game against the Colts and Seahawks.

Deshaun Watson would play some fantastic football on the road in Baltimore in mid-November to lead the Browns in a comeback win against the Ravens. Many Browns fans were going nuts that Watson looked like his old self again, and the team looked ready to make a Super Bowl run, but news came out later in the week that Watson hurt his shoulder again in the game and will need season-ending surgery.

Joe Flacco Helped Saved The 2023 Season

The Browns went to the playoffs because veteran quarterback Joe Flacco came off the couch late in the season, joined the team, and helped get the Browns, who were losing star player after star player, to the playoffs. Still, they fell short in the Wild Card round against the Houston Texans.

Watson Says There No Timeline For Him To Be 100%

Watson is expected to be back as the Brown’s starter this season, and the Browns started volumetry workouts this week. Watson spoke to the media, saying,” There is no timeline for him to be 100%. It could be sooner than later; it could be later than sooner,”

Watson is going into a big year three, and the sooner he is 100%, the better it will be for the quarterback who needs to show up after his first two seasons in Cleveland, which have been very shaky.
