Last Sunday, Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson took a kick to the left eye, then threw a game-winning touchdown.

Here’s a look at the incredible play.

You can see in the video above that Watson reached up into his facemask right after the kick from Arden Key. He revealed to Rich Eisen of NFL Network that he reached up to touch the eye before throwing the touchdown because he thought the eye had popped out of his head.

Now, I can’t speak for all of us, but if I thought my dang eye had popped out of my head and was perhaps laying on the ground, the last thing on my mind would be continuing to play a game.

Watson is clearly a rare bird. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
