Running back Devin Singletary won AFC Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Wednesday morning. Singletary received the honor after he helped the Texans record a 30-27 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday afternoon.

During the Texans' Week 10 victory, Singletary posted a career-best 150 yards in 30 attempts and a touchdown at Paycor Stadium.

He was the only player in the NFL to surpass 125 yards on the ground, as his 150-yard total stands as the ninth-highest single-game total in the league this season. He became just the eighth player in club lore to reach 150 rushing yards in a single game.

Singletary started in place of Dameon Pierce, who missed his second consecutive game due to a knee injury.

"Motor’ [Devin Singletary] – outstanding game, outstanding performance by him – the way he ran the ball," coach DeMeco Ryans said. "The way he finished. It’s still impressive sitting back and watching it again today. Very, very happy with what ‘Motor’ has done.

"It’s encouraging to see just the way his style, the way he finished, the way he made guys miss when they had one-on-one opportunities."

Singletary's honor marked the 54th time in franchise history a Texan has been named Player of the Week and the 19th time an offensive player has won the award in franchise history.

This also marked the third time during the 2023 season a player from the franchise has been named Player of the Week. Rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud received the recognition following the Texans' comeback victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
