The Chicago Bears have been interviewing candidates for their vacant offensive coordinator position, and Dez Bryant thinks the team’s wide receivers should be very nervous about the possibility of one particular coach getting the job.

Greg Roman is one of the candidates who has reportedly interviewed with the Bears for their OC job. When Bryant caught wind of that news on Monday, he had some very blunt advice for Chicago’s wide receiver corps.

“Every WR on the offense better ask for a trade I warned you,” Bryant wrote.

Roman was the offensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens from 2019-2022. Bryant signed with the Ravens midway through the 2020 season and played a handful of games with the team, so his experience with Roman is limited. The former Pro Bowl receiver feels he has seen enough.

Though Lamar Jackson was named NFL MVP while playing under Roman in 2019, many blamed Roman for the way Baltimore’s offense seemed to go stale after that. Roman resigned following the Ravens’ early playoff exit last year. The team then brought in Todd Monken, and Jackson now has his second NFL MVP award all but wrapped up.

Bryant clearly believes that Roman is not good at his job. This is not the first time that Dez has talked negatively about the coach.
